More than 97% of Wheaton students live on campus, ensuring that our residence halls are communities of diverse individuals living and learning together. At Wheaton, we believe learning takes place beyond the classroom. As such, students are encouraged to participate in and contribute to the learning environment of their living spaces.

The Office of Residential Life is a department within the division of Student Affairs. We serve as a resource for students and seek to support them in ways that provide the best opportunities for their success.

Our Mission Statement

Campus Life is home to the Office of Residential Life and Student Activities, Involvement, and Leadership. Together we provide students with a transformative experience in an inclusive and accessible environment that fosters personal development. In collaboration with campus and community partners, we embrace personal challenges and support students into becoming self-aware and socially responsible leaders.

We endeavor to provide and sustain a healthy, inclusive living environment which fosters and encourages co-curricular learning, community ownership, civility, and respect.
