More than 97% of Wheaton students live on campus. The residence halls are communities of diverse individuals living and learning together. Learning takes place beyond the classroom and students are encouraged to participate in and contribute to the learning environment of their living spaces.

The Office of Residential Life is a department within the division of Student Affairs.  We serve as a resource to our residential students in whatever they need within the place they call home while at Wheaton.

Our Mission Statement

The Office of Residential Life endeavors to provide and sustain a healthy, inclusive living environment which fosters and encourages co-curricular learning, community ownership, civility, and respect.

By initiating and supporting active student engagement, the office challenges students to think intellectually and socially to become well-rounded, responsible, global citizens.
