Wheaton offers more than 100 academic programs—from anthropology to theater and dance and everything in between. But sometimes our students want even more. And Wheaton obliges by empowering them to design their own major.
Here are a few of the students who are shaping their Wheaton education into the perfect fit for pursuing their dreams. Each of them is doing it for a different reason, but they share in common the same keys to success: drive, patience, flexibility and the willingness to seek guidance and collaborate with a team of supporters.
The process of earning approval requires a solid plan and pushes students to reflect and hone in on their dreams as they personalize their academic path. Going your own way is challenging, they say, but totally worth it.
