At Wheaton College’s 184th Commencement on Saturday, May 18, 2019, the Rev. Dr. William Joseph Barber II, social justice advocate, pastor and president emeritus of the North Carolina conference of the NAACP, presented the graduating seniors with a critical challenge: to “graduate today, but get up, get together and get involved tomorrow.”
