Wheaton provides a wide variety of support throughout your college search process in order to meet the diverse needs of our students. Select a pathway that aligns most to your individual situation to learn more about the application and enrollment process.

First-Year Students

You have not attended college since completing high school, homeschool, or obtaining a GED/HiSET or other high-school equivalency.

Transfer Students

You have not attended or attempted credit at Wheaton. You attended or attempted credit at another college since completing high school.

International Students

You are a non-U.S. citizen looking to matriculate at a welcoming U.S. college.

Admitted Students

You have been admitted as a new student at Wheaton and are looking to take the next step.

First-Year Students

You have not attended college since completing high school, homeschool, or obtaining a GED/HiSET or other high-school equivalency.

Wheaton’s application for first-year students is intended for students who have not previously attended college and is available via the Common Application under the listing Wheaton College MA.

To complete the online application, you’ll need to provide the following information:

Contact information and the term you’re applying for
Information about your high school and graduation or GED completion date
Your area of academic interest

Applying to Wheaton

Transfer Students

You have not attended or attempted credit at Wheaton. You attended or attempted credit at another college since completing high school.

Wheaton may be the right place for you to continue your academic career as a transfer student. We are excited to learn more about your academic endeavors and experiences. We invite all applicants to connect with Kristen Cahalane-Petchar, Coordinator of Transfer Admission, should assistance be needed.

In order to be considered for admission to Wheaton College, please submit the Common Application for Transfer Students. This application can be found on the Common Application Web site.

International Students

You are a non-U.S. citizen looking to matriculate at a welcoming U.S. college.

Wheaton is a comfortable and friendly campus, with many resources available to support non-U.S. citizens through the application process, the matriculation at a U.S. college and adjusting to the college experience.

International students are an integral part of the Wheaton community. We put a great deal of value on intellectual and cultural diversity. Wheaton’s 1,700 students come from more than 70 countries, making our suburban campus feel very global.
