This trio creates a sound that seamlessly merges flamenco with elements of jazz, world, rock, pop and soul. Joined by Brad Barrett and Tupac Mantilla, guitarist Pascual “manages to uphold and extend the traditions of flamenco, creating something distinctive in the process.” (Bill Bilawsky, All About Jazz)

The band, under the direction of Assistant Professor of Music Jeff Cashen, perform jazz compositions ranging from blues based to modern funk and fusion inspired songs. The 70-piece GWSO directed by Associate Professor of Music Delvyn Case celebrates the global orchestral tradition by presenting folk-music-inspired pieces from six continents. This biannual festival features ten-minute plays written in 48 hours based on a prompt devised by Playwright-in-Residence Charlotte Meehan. The festival is a collaboration between the Creative Writing Program and the Department of Theatre and Dance Studies.
