Asian Studies

The world’s largest continent beholds a diverse range of people, cultures, histories, languages and discoveries. The Asian studies minor will deepen your understanding of a particular geographical region, such as the Middle East, South Asia or East Asia. By choosing electives from disciplines such as history, world languages, economics, music, theatre, politics and religion, you can broaden your knowledge of the topics that interest you most. Maybe it’s Chinese foreign policy or Buddhist thought. Perhaps it’s the history of Japan or music and dance of South Asia.
