Flu season is upon us. Now is the time to take good care of yourself and others.
If you would like to receive a flu shot, please visit your nearest Walgreens Pharmacy. Bring your insurance card and ID. You must be 18 years of age or older. No appointment necessary. All vaccines, including the flu shot, are available on a walk-in basis.
Or look for the on-campus flu shot clinics which take place every fall. Check the events calendar for dates and times.
Tips on avoiding the flu and other illnesses:
- Get a flu shot now. Contact your primary care physician, the local board of health,
Sturdy Health Primary Care – Norton (508-285-9500) or Walgreens in Norton (508-285-4961). - Wash or sanitize your hands frequently.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth.
- Avoid close contact with others who are sick.
- Clean things that are touched often (keyboards, phones).
Simple ways to reduce the spread of the flu and other illnesses:
- Stay home to recover if you’re sick and avoid exposing others.
- Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue or cough and sneeze
into your sleeve. - Wash or sanitize your hands frequently.
