Norton Medical Center, Wheaton’s designated student health center, is a private neighborhood facility located on-campus and owned and operated by Sturdy Memorial Associates. Same day appointments are generally available. Please call for an appointment; NMC is not a walk-in clinic. If you’re experiencing a medical condition/illness or a minor injury, the medical providers at NMC can offer evaluation and treatment.

A doctor-on-call is available to address your concerns. Please call the answering service at 508-285-9500, identify yourself as a Wheaton student/Norton Medical Center patient, and ask to speak with the covering physician.
All students regardless of enrollment in a personal or the college-sponsored health insurance are eligible to receive care at Norton Medical Center. During the academic year, all student appointments are free of charge regardless of insurance coverage. Labwork, immunizations, and procedures are charged to a student’s insurance. Copays are waived; deductibles apply. During the summer months, the visit, lab work, and procedure costs are charged to a student’s insurance. For medical advice after hours, a doctor-on-call is available at 508-285-9500 to address your concerns.
