The band, under the direction of Assistant Professor Jeffrey Cashen perform a wide ranging selection of jazz arranged for the band by Cashen. Special guest PHAT Police will also perform.

Please join the Wheaton Chorale and Chamber Singers, under the direction of Tim Harbold, for an eclectic program of jazz, folk songs, spirituals and pop, featuring songs we explored with Visiting Artists Donnell Patterson (gospel), Dominique Eade (jazz), and Alex Grover (pop).

The Trinitarian Church is located adjacent to campus at 2 Pine Street, (corner of Main and Pine, right across from Young).
In support of our performing artists and aligning with other local arts organizations, all indoor Arts at Wheaton programming will require audience members to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. 

The talented students of the Jazz Band, under the direction of Assistant Professor Jeff Cashen, perform a program of music including works by Charles Mingus, Ralph Towner, Wes Montgomery and others.

Adriano George da Silva leads this ensemble performing Afro-Brazilian Jazz along with interpretations of popular Brazilian music genres: Samba, Bossa Nova, and MPB (Música Popular Brasileira). George da Silva has played with Brazilian legends Milton Nascimento and Gilberto Gil. The instrumentalists will be joined by singer and composer Adriana Pinto Moreira on vocals. The Phat Police, a student-led ensemble under the direction of Assistant Professor Jeff Cashen, present a program of music selected and arranged by the members, ranging from jazz standards to blues to reggae.

The Wheaton Chamber Singers present a program of jazz standards and more, joined by the Wheaton Chorale and Haas Visiting Artist Dominique Eade, two-time winner of the Boston Music Award for best Jazz Vocalist.

The band, under the direction of Assistant Professor of Music Jeff Cashen, perform jazz compositions ranging from blues based to modern funk and fusion inspired songs.
