Professional development opportunities for tutors

Tutors are encouraged to attend every staff development workshop but must attend a minimum of three each semester. Tutors will be paid for each workshop attended. Keep checking this page for updates as new workshops are added all the time.

Test preparation for the MTEL Exam

Each semester, students planning to take the Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure (MTEL) Communication and Literacy exam (the first state mandated licensure test) are encouraged to attend a free two-day test preparation course here on Wheaton’s campus.
