Civic engagement is one of the many ways Wheaton educates students to create positive social change they want to see in the world. Through nonpartisan activities, we promote civic responsibility to help students become informed and involved citizens. This can include voting, volunteering, or evaluating important issues from diverse perspectives. The Center for Social Justice and Community (SJCI) also pairs students with local and national nonprofits to help support their missions. Through civic engagement and community service, our students are empowered to help create a more just and equitable world.
