Composer and pianist Anthony Cheung performs compositions and improvisations for two pianos, accompanied by pianist Cory Smythe. The program includes a premiere of a two-piano arrangement of Sibelius’ 7th Symphony by Cheung.

Nicholas Kitchen, internationally recognized violinist, founder of the Borromeo String Quartet, and faculty member of New England Conservatory, presents a concert with Professor of Music, Ann Sears, piano. This performance includes sonatas by Beethoven and Mozart, as well as works by Clarence Cameron White and Amy Beach.

Wheaton College organist Juan A. Mesa presents a concert of organ music to honor J. S. Bach’s 338th birthday. The concert will include works by Bach, Buxtehude, Couperin, Clara Schumann, Rheinberger, and others.

The Wheaton Chorale and Chamber Singers under the direction of Visiting Assistant Professor Alexandra Lutkevich, present an evening of musical theater and jazz, featuring group numbers as well as student soloists.

Gifted student performers demonstrate mastery in voice, violin, cello, piano and other instruments.

The Southeastern Massachusetts Wind Symphony, under the direction of Associate Professor Earl Raney, presents works by Debussy, Grieg, Milhaud, Puccini, plus several favorites! Suggested donation $5. 

The ensemble, under the direction of Assistant Professor Sheila Falls, performs music from a variety of genres from around the world, including Europe, South America, Africa, and more.

Award winning composer, saxophonist, and flutist Anna Webber performs with her band Simple Trio (Matt Mitchell, piano; John Hollenbeck, drums) blending strands from contemporary concert music and free improvisation. It is surprising, inventive, virtuosic, and engagingly problematizes entrenched notions about the genre of a jazz trio.

Welcome to Freetown.”  After a celebrated virtual visit last year, Trinidadian band, Freetown Collective, will be on campus, live, straight from performing at SXSW in Austin, touring for the first time in North America. Muhammad Muwakil and Lou Lyons, along with DJ Rawkus, redefine Calypso and Soca genres to create soulful, compelling, irresistibly infectious music, designed to lift people up and amplify issues of empowerment and Social Justice. Please join us for an evening of deeply inspired and moving music.

Bach, and Mozart’s Symphony no. 27.  Thomas Conrad ’22 performs C.P.E. Bach’s Flute Concerto in D Minor, and Bethany Tetreault ’23 sings J.S. Bach’s “Sheep May Safely Graze.”
