#WheaNegotiate – Join us on Tuesday, April 10th for a campus-wide celebration of Equal Pay Day. Wheaton will join events happening across the nation to bring attention to the on-going harm of the pay gap. There will be lunchtime tabling in Balfour-Hood. In the evening there will be a workshop. This workshop is your chance to gain insight into the societal factors driving pay disparity, as well as a chance to learn negotiation strategies to help combat it. The event will occur from 6-7:30pm in the Faculty Dining Room.

Wheaton’s honoring of Equal Pay Day has been organized by the Alliance Club, Career Services, the Center for Social Justice and Community Impact, the Distinguished Women of Color Collective, Emerson House, Human Resources, the Queer and Trans People of Color Club, Title IX, Wallace Library, WheAccess Club, The WiNHub and Women’s and Gender Studies.
