Interested in getting involved in Music? Come out and meet the faculty and hear about opportunities for classes and performance.

Come out and meet the faculty and staff of the Department of Theatre and Dance and hear what’s planned for the coming year. Information about auditions for both theatre and dance will be provided as well as information about classes and the major.

Are you interested in jazz, ballet, and modern dance? Current students are invited to audition for the Wheaton College Dance Company. There will be a warmup with our modern teacher then you will be taught a combination. Please wear clothes that you are able to dance in.

Auditions for the fall mainstage production of ROE, written by Lisa Loomer and directed by Professor Stephanie Burlington Daniels, will take place on Thursday, September 1. Current students can sign up for an audition slot on the Theatre and Dance call board, located in the hallway outside of Watson office 126. A PDF of the script is available, please contact Professor Daniels for access. A cast list will be posted on call board by 7pm Friday night (September 2).

Rehearsal schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night 7-10pm, and Friday afternoon from 2-4pm. Rehearsals begin on Tuesday night Sept. 6. The show opens on November 3 and runs until the 12th.

Arts@Wheaton presents an interactive screening of Twilight. Audience members are welcome to yell out their favorite lines and come up with some hot takes for an informal talk back after the movie. We’ll provide the movie snacks, bring a friend and come enjoy some cheesy vampire romance.

Featuring Beethoven’s “Coriolan” Overture, Haydn’s Symphony no. 33, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s Noveletten, Jose Eizondo’s Danzas Latinoamericanos, and Charlotte Blake’s That Poker Rag

Senior Visual Art majors’ will present bodies of work in a variety of mediums including: illustration, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. This group exhibition is mounted under the supervision of Assistant Professor of Photography Leah Dyjak.

Gallery hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday 1-5 p.m.; Thursdays 1-8 p.m.
