Scenes from Opening Convocation
Wheaton kicked off the new academic year on Tuesday, September 1 with the annual Opening Convocation, held at 5 p.m. in Cole Memorial Chapel.
President Dennis Hanno delivered an address on the theme of “We Can Lead the Way,” and other speakers included Provost Linda Eisenmann, Dean of Students Kate Kenny and Student Government Association President Sarah Hilton ’16.
Members of the Class of 2016 had the opportunity to march in their Commencement robes for the first time.
