Faculty Workshop – Exploring the Digital: Supporting Digital Scholarship at Wheaton
May 23, 2018 @ 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Come and play in our digital sandbox! This is an opportunity for you to learn about some new and exciting tools for digital scholarship. During this hands-on workshop, you will have an opportunity to try out new tools and share ideas about how to use them with colleagues. Some of the tools we will be highlighting are Tableau and Palladio, two data visualization tools; and Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to create 3D images, resize images, and quickly create derivative files. We will also unveil the new Digital Scholarship Subject Guides for faculty and students that serve as a one-stop-shop introduction for access to tools, tutorials, implementation suggestions, and successfully completed projects as examples for classroom use.
