Candlelight Vigil
November 1, 2018 @ 7:15 PM - 8:15 PM
Students have joined together with the Center for Social Justice and Community Impact and the Center for Religious and Spiritual Life to plan several events at which we can gather as a community to mourn, to draw strength from one another and to unite against hatred and violence.
Hillel and Jewish Life House, along with their faculty advisor Professor of Religion Rabbi Jonathan Brumberg-Kraus, will host an open Brave Space Conversation for all on Thursday from 1:30–2:30 p.m. in Emerson Faculty Dining. On Thursday evening, the entire Wheaton community is invited to gather in front of the Chapel at 7:15 p.m. for a candlelight vigil on the Dimple.
For those who may need support or wish to talk, the Counseling Center is available and you may also seek support from campus offices, including the Center for Social Justice and Community Impact, the Center for Religious and Spiritual Life and the Marshall Center.
