Financial Aid and Scholarships
A Wheaton College education is an investment in your future. The college is invested in making a Wheaton education within your reach.
We offer our highest transfer scholarships of $40,000 to Massachusetts Transfer Guarantee students. We also consider all applicants for merit scholarships—which is gift aid that does not need to be repaid.
Wheaton offers need-based awards funded by the college’s own financial resources, as well as from federal and state funding sources. This financial assistance at Wheaton is awarded on the basis of demonstrated need. “Need” is determined by the financial information that you and your family provide on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Limited need-based financial aid is available for international students based on a combination of financial need and academic performance. International applicants who wish to be considered for financial aid must complete the International Student Financial Aid Application after you apply for admission to Wheaton. This form will be located in your admission portal and is specific to you.
A need-based package may include a merit scholarship, grants, loans or a work study award. The Office of Student Financial Services (SFS) provides all the resources you need to plan for this important investment. We encourage you to visit our Financial Aid Process & Deadlines page for more information.
