Theatre and Dance
Offered by the Theatre and Dance department.

Write a script. Audition for a role. Build a set. Choreograph a dance. Being part of a show—from a short play in a black box theatre to a major musical production on the main stage—is fun, fulfilling, and memorable. Wheaton’s theatre and dance majors study acting, directing, theatre design and history, dance, dramatic literature, playwriting, and film theory. They also study collaborative efforts, time management, articulation, and technical skill — excellent preparation for any career.

With a vibrant arts scene on campus, you’ll find many opportunities for involvement on-stage or behind-the-scenes.
