The Career Services Office offers you a range of resources and tools to support your courses and student advising.

Staff members are available to offer programs, to act as a resource for experiential learning, and to partner with you in advising your students.

Recommend  students who need help identifying their interests, skills and talents, exploring careers, developing summer jobs and internships, reflecting on connections between academic interests and careers, and preparing for employment and graduate school after Wheaton.

First-Year Seminars

We can provide first-year students with an introduction to the Filene Center and help them to explore internships that connect their seminar with other out-of-class learning opportunities.

We offer a range of workshops. Topics include, but are not limited to creating resumes, writing cover letters, interviewing and presentation skills, job search for various disciplines and workplace etiquette.

Senior Seminar Visits

Invite an advisor to your Senior Seminar (preferably before spring break). Advisors can speak about resumes, networking, and transitioning from Wheaton.

Departmental Visits

We are available to discuss the departmental specific career exploration needs of your students.  We can also partner to create discipline specific web content, highlighting internships for current students and the post-Wheaton successes of graduates.
