Neuroscience
Memory. Movement. Moods. Our brain and nervous system is responsible for how we think, feel, sense, and perceive—and there’s so much to still discover. That’s why neuroscience is such a fascinating area of study. It entails human biology: the molecules, cells, and genes that allow us to function. And it’s also psychology: learning, cognition, and behavior. Neuroscience also considers neurological and psychiatric conditions and altered states of consciousness. Wheaton’s interdisciplinary neuroscience major offers excellent preparation for post-graduate education.
