Morning news comes to Wheaton
On Friday, September 26, Fox 25 News Boston sent its morning news team out to campus as part of its six-week “College Tour” series. Arriving bright and early at 4:30 a.m. to set up, the news crew popped up cameras, lights, equipment and tents to broadcast live, for over three hours from the campus green. Hundreds of students woke up early to watch. President Dennis M. Hanno was interviewed, the Lymin’ Lyons steel drum band performed, and some students even competed in a trivia contest on air. Many stayed throughout the beautiful morning to have coffee, omelettes and donuts, to listen to some music, to have fun with friends and to watch the broadcast unfold.
