2025 Reunion celebrated
Nearly 300 Wheaton College alumni returned to campus Friday, May 16 through Sunday, May 18 to celebrate the Class of 2025 and reconnect with classmates. They joyfully participated in the traditional procession before the Commencement ceremony on the Dimple, and a busy schedule of activities. Events included the Annual Meeting of the Alumni, which featured the presentation of Alumni Achievement Awards to Martha Stone ’70 and Derron Wallace ’07.
The Alumni Association also presented the newly established Sharon G. Levine Memorial Volunteer Leadership Award to John Talanian ’93 and Hope Gallagher Ogletree ’75 for their service, leadership and accomplishments. Marci Lunder Miller ’77 and Becky Callow ’73 were also selected as recipients and will receive recognition at a later date.
The Class of 1975 celebrated its 50th Reunion with 42 members and the Class of 2000 returned 24 alums to Norton for its 25th Reunion. The Class of 1960 was recognized as the most senior and beloved alumni attending Reunion, while the 46 members of the Class of 2005 who took part in the weekend’s events was the most of any class.
Overall, alums from 27 states (including Hawaii), as well as residents of Canada, China, Germany and the Philippines participated in Reunion Weekend.
