A discussion with Serene J. Khader, Professor and Jay Newman, Chair in Philosophy of Culture, Brooklyn College.

Join Professor Khader for a discussion of her recent book, Decolonizing Universalism, which asks after the values that should guide transnational feminist solidarity. In her work Professor Khader argues that transnational feminism can respect cultural religious difference and acknowledge the legacy of imperialism without surrendering its core ethical commitments.
