Religious and Spiritual Life at Wheaton College provides space and support for students who are among the religiously observant, spiritually curious or both.
We partner with students interested in asking complex and critical questions about life and its meaning and to find supportive and transformative ways of gathering with others for contemplation, celebration or dwelling in the unknown.
We strive to make our campus a more joyful place of belonging for everyone at Wheaton College by supporting the practice of religion and spirituality and by promoting critical and constructive inquiry into how our values are lived.
Spiritual and Religious Student Organizations
We work with student-run organizations including Hillel (for Jewish life), InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF), the Muslim Student Association (MSA), the Newman Catholic Students Club, and the Interfaith Theme House.
We also work with student groups and local partners to coordinate holiday observances and celebrations and to create opportunities for students to attend local religious services.
Meditation Room
The Meditation Room downstairs in Cole Memorial Chapel offers a quiet space for individuals and small groups to pray or meditate. No reservation is required to use the Meditation Room. Feel free to come by or reach with any questions.
