Our new tuition price reflects what you’ll pay before merit scholarships or other aid are applied. You also may be eligible for additional scholarships, grants and need-based aid which lower your total cost of attendance. In 2025, first-year students saw a total average bill (tuition, fees, room and board, after aid) of $24,624—lower than the cost of many public universities.

Merit Scholarships
When you apply to Wheaton via the Common App or Coalition Application, you’ll automatically be considered for merit scholarships and need-based grants. This is gift aid from Wheaton that does not need to be repaid. No separate scholarship application is required.

- Stackable Aid: Combine Wheaton scholarships and grants with federal, state or private aid to significantly lower your total cost.
Financial Aid Packages
Financial aid packages are based on your complete cost of attendance, including tuition, housing, food, fees, books and personal expenses. Most students receive a combination of merit aid, grants, scholarships, and federal work-study to reduce out-of-pocket costs.
Once you submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), our Student Financial Services team will determine your eligibility for federal, state and institutional need-based aid. You’ll then receive a personalized financial aid package along with your admission letter.
