Music
Performance and practice opportunities abound at Wheaton. Our vibrant music department is home to a distinguished faculty of scholar-performers, a visiting artist’s program, a world-class concert series, and a group of talented, energetic students. We offer a flexible music major with options to minor in performance, theory and composition, American music, ethnomusicology, and music history. Many of our students pursue graduate school, and others work in music business or arts management, perform professionally, or put their musician mentality to use in a range of other careers.
