Reserving the Center

The Marshall Center for Intercultural Learning is available for student, staff and faculty use. Consider hosting a class or club meeting, or view a film for discussion. Typically, the Center is available for use after office hours on weekdays, and on weekends. We require a 2-3 week notice of your request.

Co-Sponsorship Requests

The Marshall Center for Intercultural Learning has limited funds available to co-sponsor events and programs designed to enhance intercutural learning. If you are an individual or organization seeking funds for such purposes, complete the form.

  • Available to Wheaton student clubs, theme houses, faculty and staff deptartments

  • Program/event must provide an opportunity for intercultural learning and open to all Wheaton community

  • Applicants must provide an explanation of need and how the request meets the criteria of expanding inclusion efforts and/or relates to the Marshall Center mission during the application process.  Priority given to groups planning programs related to cultural and heritage months including Latinx Heritage Month, Indigenous Peoples Heritage Month, Black History Month and Asian Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern and South Asian Heritage Month.

  • A detailed budget of the event with other sources of funding should be included

Please note, the Center does not fund the following; January trips, Spring Break trips or any activity for credit. We typically do not fund purely social events (i.e., parties, dances, etc.) or food for events where the food is not central to the program. Please contact us if you have any specific questions about this.
