
In addition to the practicum placement, all students will take two courses: Social Problems and Social Innovation. Students will earn a total of 16 Wheaton credits: eight for the practicum and four for each of the two courses. Sophomores participating in the program also receive full Sophomore Experience credit as part of the Compass curriculum for participating in the program.
Students will be housed in shared apartments in Allston, Massachusetts. Students pay Wheaton tuition and pay the College for Social Innovation directly for housing.

- SIC 226 – Research on Social Problems (4 credits)
- SIC 236 – Social Problems (4 credits)
- SIC 336 – Social Innovation (8 credits)
Students must complete applications through Wheaton College and CfSI. The Wheaton application is administered through the Center for Global Education: Wheaton Application for SITC . Wheaton’s application deadlines are October 1 and March 1.
