Pre-Arrival Checklist
We’ve put together a comprehensive pre-arrival checklist to ensure a smooth transition to Wheaton. Before you arrive, learn how to log into your student account and register for orientation, classes, housing and parking. Plus, find out what to bring (and what not to bring) and learn about our dining options.
Orientation
Whether you’re a first-time or transfer student, orientation is a great way to meet other new students. Together, you’ll explore campus as official Wheaties, learn about our unique Compass Curriculum and club offerings, and engage in fun activities. It’s also a great opportunity to sample the menus at our dining halls, check out our commuter lounge, find your residence hall, or maybe even meet your future roommate. Check out our Early Arrival Programs for the fall.
Get Involved
As a new student, finding your people is likely one of your biggest concerns. We’ve got many ways to help you do just that. There are clubs for shared interests, identities and cultures, campus-wide activities, sporting events, performances and more. Check out our clubs and organizations page and discover all the ways you can immerse yourself in the Wheaton community.
New Student Housing
Welcome to your new home away from home! Explore our residence halls and living and learning communities. We’ll take you through our housing selection process, including how to connect with a roommate, what to pack, and when to move in.
Student Resources
Your experience at Wheaton is as unique as you are. Our welcoming and inclusive community is here to support you every step of the way. We offer a host of resources, from academic advising to financial services, health and wellness, residential life, accessibility, and accommodations. Plus, be sure to review the student handbook.
Building Your First Schedule
Wheaton’s unique and innovative curriculum allows you to chart your own course. We’ll help you explore your passions, choose classes that match your interests, and connect with your dedicated team of academic and peer advisors. We’ll be here to cheer you on from day one through graduation.
