New Public Art at Wheaton project unveiled
Wheaton College unveiled a new public art installation in February as part of its collaboration with Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) and Rhode Island School of Design. Visiting artist Eileen de Rosas (MassArt ’22) created the Public Art at Wheaton project “Into the Woods, which is sited in the Beard Courtyard of the Mars Center for Science and Technology. She presented a community talk in the Diana Davis Spencer Cafe on the inspiration and technical work behind the six collage panels. The installation will remain in place for two to four years, according to Kelly Goff, associate professor and chair of visual art.
