Nursing Scholarships reflect our deep commitment to making a transformative nursing education both affordable and achievable. Through the generosity of alumni and local partnerships, we support students as they grow into skilled clinicians and compassionate leaders in healthcare.
Wheaton Comprehensive Nursing Scholarship
This scholarship will be available to one new student enrolling in the nursing program at Wheaton College in Fall 2027. The Wheaton Comprehensive Nursing Scholarship will cover the full cost of attendance, including tuition, fees, room, board, books and supplies, and health insurance if necessary for all four years. Inspired by the example of generosity from the Gogel family, Wheaton created this scholarship to continue that legacy of opportunity, opening the door for students determined to do the same for others.
To be considered for the scholarship, students must first apply to Wheaton College via the Common App or Coalition for College and select Nursing as their academic interest. Applicants will then be emailed a web-based application for the Wheaton Comprehensive Nursing Scholarship. Scholarship applications must be received no later than April 1, 2027. Academic achievement, financial need, and other criteria will be considered in the scholarship application review process. The award recipient will be notified on or around April 7, 2027.
Gogel Nursing Scholarship
The Georgia Wall Gogel ’71 and Don Gogel Scholarships were funded through the generous support of the Gogel family and continue to provide critical financial support for over one hundred students in need who joined Wheaton’s first four Nursing cohorts between Fall 2023 and 2027. The Gogels’ commitment to Wheaton College and the essential role that the nursing profession plays in society has transformed the lives of over 100 dedicated aspiring Wheaton nurses.
