Application Information
Before you start packing your bags, take a moment to review the eligibility and application requirements.
As a new first-time student, you have a unique opportunity to spend your first semester abroad through our WheaGoGlobal program. As a current or transfer student, you can study abroad as a sophomore, junior, or first semester senior. You must have a 2.85 cumulative GPA in order to be eligible.
Whether you want to study away or abroad, submit an online application through the Center for Global Education. Our deadlines are always on October 1st and March 1st.
- If you are considering a program that’s not on our approved list, you must complete a petition application The petition is reviewed by the Center for Global Education and the Global Advisory Committee.
- If you have a GPA below the required 2.85 for study abroad or 2.5 for Semester in the City, you must complete a GPA petition. The petition is reviewed by the Center for Global Education and the Committee on Academic Standing.
