The Balfour-Hood atrium became a lively cultural exchange last Friday as the Wheaton community came together for the International Bazaar, which celebrates the diversity of the student population through tables representing different countries, interactive activities, performances and food from different regions of the world. The event, one of several held in March, was sponsored by Global Leadership Development Group, an organization of international students advised by President Dennis M. Hanno and professors Gail Sahar and Aubrey Westfall working to raise awareness of global issues on campus. The group’s theme this year is Women’s Rights are Human Rights.
