Join us to celebrate A Bench for My Favorite Book (2024), an art installation created by Finnegan Shannon in collaboration with Wheaton students. The work provides a space for users to experience the photographs of Félix Gonzàlez-Torres via poetic Alt text. Finnegan Shannon is a multidisciplinary artist whose work experiments with access and ableist assumptions. Their project this semester was made possible by Evelyn Danzig Haas ’39 Visiting Artists Program, in conjunction with Beard and Weil Galleries, as part of the WIIH programming Whose Normal?
