Assistant Vice President of Business Services and Physical Plant

John provides institutional direction and leadership for physical plant and business activities including: integrated facilities and capital planning, construction projects, renovations, maintenance operations, enterprise risk management, auxiliary services, purchasing, environmental health and safety, including regulatory compliance, administration of real estate holdings, cost-saving initiatives, business-consortial relationships, procurement card program and Conference and Event Services.

Kim manages the day-to-day operations of the Business Services Office and is responsible for overseeing and administering the following programs: insurance administration, auxiliary services, procurement initiatives, consortia memberships, procurement card, faculty/staff housing, commercial leases and travel agency services. Kim also provides support to the Assistant Vice President of Business Services and Physical Plant on the following initiatives: risk management, regulatory agency compliance, environmental health and safety, contract review and administration and capital project support.
