Balfour-Hood Café reopens
Students, faculty and staff had an opportunity to enjoy free sample size portions of selected menu items during a soft opening of the newly renovated Balfour-Hood Café Friday.
The first day of full service for the cafe will be on Monday January 19 and will feature new eco-friendly menu options, a revamped serving line and a new payment option for students with meal plans. It was the café’s first major renovation in 10 years and the first in a series of planned upgrades to campus dining halls, to be followed by Chase Dining Hall this spring and Emerson Dining Hall the following winter.
A weeklong grand opening celebration is planned starting Monday, January 26.
