The new academic year kicks off with Opening Convocation; this year’s theme: Community.

Aubrey Westfall, Professor of Political Science, will give the opening address, “Craft the Community You Crave.”

Open to all students, faculty and staff.

Members of the Class of 2027 should gather, in their gowns, in Everett Courtyard at 3:30 p.m. to line up for the procession.

Faculty will meet College Marshals Stephanie Burlington Daniels and Bob Morris at 3:30 p.m. in front of Watson Fine Arts in regalia.

The ceremony will be followed by a BBQ in Chase Dining Hall.
