    Location: Other (see notes)

This event focuses on bringing on-campus attention to the experiences lived by actual refugees. We will be joined by three refugees who have all fled their home countries in contexts of unsettlement, and who have had to adapt to living in the United States of America. We will have the immense privilege of receiving the Director of the ORI (Office of Refugees and Immigrants), herself a refugee from Vietnam, a 19-year-old Somali, and a 30-year-old Iraqi. They will be telling us about their journey from their home-countries to their establishment in the US, their hardships, and how we can be the best possible advocates at our scale to the refugee cause.
Join us in hearing, discussing and engaging with them on Friday, February 24 in Hindle at 7pm. 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
