The first of four annual Wheaton Forums on Women is held during the Spring semester.  Speakers such as Gloria Steinem, Florence Luscomb, Bernice Sandler, Gloria Schaffer, and Dixie Lee Ra examine “the contemporary situation of women.”  Lectures films, workshops, panel discussions, and exhibits concentrated on such themes as Women in Art, Women in Athletics, and Leadership and Social Change.
