Roll call for victory

In November the Alumnae Office sent out letters asking alumni what they were doing to aid the war effort.  Hundreds of former students returned letters telling the college about their efforts, from serving in WAAC (the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps) and WAVES (Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service) to working in defense industries such as engineers and metallurgists.
