Competition to build a modern fine arts center

A competition to design a modern fine arts center is sponsored by Wheaton College, the Museum of Art, and Architectural Forum.  The winning architects, who have collaborated for the first time on their entry, are Caleb Hornbostel and Richard M. Bennett of New York.   They winning design is never built because of the College’s lack of funds and the coming world war.
