Walking Club forms, then disbands
On Saturday, October 8, the Walking Club is organized, with a membership of four. The Society has a constitution, an initiation, a secret alphabet that they never fully learned, a private seal, and four officers. On their last expedition, they walked to Cathedral Woods, a distance of seven miles, four of which were in the pouring rain. The result of this was the immediate dissolution of the club, on Saturday, November 19.
