Scholarship money raised
Alumnae raise money for scholarships for the first time, establishing an endowment of $10,000 in honor of Principal Caroline Cutler Metcalf’s 25th anniversary. A sum of $2,500 is presented to the Seminary and Mrs. Metcalf nominates Hattie Daniel Blake W1878 to be the first recipient. By 1906-1907 the fund is completed and nearly pays full board and tuition for one student.
