Keiter Professor of History Alexander Bloom co-edited the third edition of “Takin’ It To The Streets”: A Sixties Reader, the comprehensive collection of primary documents from the 1960s (Oxford University Press).

Rick Britto, visiting instructor of music in performance, in November released a new CD titled In the Sky on iTunes. The CD was featured on allaboutjazz.com as “download of the week.”

Delvyn Case, assistant professor of music, has completed a commission from the Portland (Maine) Symphony Orchestra for their 2010–2011 KinderKonzert season. His Christmas overture “Rocket Sleigh” was performed in December by 15 orchestras across the country. He was also a featured presenter at the annual meeting of the Society for the Arts in Religious and Theological Studies at the national conference of the American Academy of Religion in Atlanta, where he presented examples of his sacred compositions. The December issue of the National Opera Association’s Sacred in Opera journal was devoted entirely to his essay “Punk Opera as Spiritual Vocation,” describing his 2008 opera The Prioress’s Tale.
