Wheaton Quarterly team wins awards for excellence
The Wheaton Quarterly magazine has won two silver awards for excellence from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).
The Wheaton Quarterly magazine has won two silver awards from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), sponsor of the CASE District I Communication Awards. The Quarterly won silver awards for Best Overall Magazine and Best Design.
The CASE awards recognize outstanding achievement in higher education, independent school and nonprofit communications. CASE is the professional organization for advancement professionals who work at all levels in alumni relations, communications and development. Membership includes more than 3,250 colleges, universities, and independent elementary and secondary schools in 54 countries around the world. District I is the regional chapter of CASE, representing the northeastern United States and eastern Canada.
The Quarterly team in the Wheaton Communications Office is led by editor Sandy Coleman, with Karen Mateer, assistant editor for Class Notes; Hannah Benoit, senior writer; Barbara Dill P'92, art director; Michael Kurgansky, designer; and Michael Graca, assistant vice president for communications.
Also contributing to the magazine are Wheaton staff members and many freelance writers and photographers, including Wheaton students and alumnae/i. Published in March, May, August and November, the Quarterly is distributed to more than 15,000 Wheaton alumnae/i, parents and friends throughout the world.
