There are various eco-friendly and cost-effective methods to traveling in and around the area.
GATRA - Bus
In collaboration with the Greater Attleboro Taunton Regional Transit Authority (GATRA), Wheaton provides free public transportation to all students, staff, and faculty with a Wheaton ID.
MBTA – Train
Wheaton is conveniently located between Boston and Providence, providing a myriad opportunities and experiences. The quickest way to travel is by the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) train.
Transportation Board
Save the cost and the environment by visiting the Transportation Board located next to the Hood Café in Balfour-Hood Campus Center. Students can offer and find rides throughout the year to various locations around the northeastern region.
Wheaton Shuttle
Offered on select Fridays and Saturdays throughout the academic year, the Saturday Shuttle takes Wheaton Students to popular shopping plazas in the area such as Wrentham Outlets and Emerald Square Mall. Click here for the fall 2009 schedule.
