Information for International Students
Wheaton offers limited need-based financial aid to international students based on a combination of financial need and academic performance. Applicants who wish to be considered for financial aid must file the International Student Financial Aid Application form by the deadline of the admission decision plan they have chosen. In addition all applicants for Admission must also complete the International Student Certification of Finances form.
Wheaton offers an academic scholarship program to recognize outstanding secondary school achievement. Citizens of any country are eligible for these funds which range in value from U.S. $40,000 to U.S. $70,000 over the course of a student's four years at Wheaton (annual value $10,000 to $17,500). In addition, Wheaton offers International Student Scholarships of up to $10,000, renewable each year, to students who have excelled in the classroom and in extracurricular activities and/or community service. The Admission Committee selects scholarship recipients from the general applicant pool; no additional application is necessary.
