Do you know a peer who goes above and beyond what is expected of them?
If so, be sure to nominate them for the annual Leadership Awards! At the ceremony, twelve students will be recognized for a variety of leadership qualities including, but not limited to, athletics, community service, performing arts, and campus life. Some of last year’s recipients include: Johna "Coby" Jones '14 who was the recipient of The Eunice Caldwell Leadership Award, given to a sophomore who has shown initiative and leadership through the freshman and sophomore years. Christiana Butera '12 received The Caroline Cutler Metcalf Leadership Award, which is given to a student who has strengthened the Wheaton College Athletic Program. Kenya Bryant '12 was the recipient of The Wheaton Ujima Leadership Award, which is awarded to a junior or senior who has demonstrated dedication to issues of multicultural diversity through two or more years of service to the Wheaton Community. A students committee will review the submissions and identify the finalists for each award, the finalists will be asked to supply the Leadership Awards Committee with their resume and a reference.
