Fall 2011 Co-ed Indoor Soccer Intramural All-Stars
All Wheaton 1st Team
Jason Lewis – An athletic player who has a cannon for a leg. Lewis is capable of scoring from anywhere on the floor because of the power and precision behind every one of his shots. Lewis was a strong contributor to his team’s championship run in 2011.
Kevin Patnode – The league leader in scoring who has a plethora of offensive moves at his disposal. Always willing to give 100% effort on every play, Patnode always seems to make key plays when his team needs him the most. Though known for his scoring, Patnode’s defense is a very underrated aspect of his all-around game.
Adam Sholi- A high energy player who plays hard on both ends of the floor. Sholi is one of the best two-way players in the league because he never takes a play off. His efforts helped to place him among the top scorers in the league but the key plays he makes on the defensive end of the floor elevate him to all-star status.
JP Carando- A player who made plays all over the field but excelled as a goalkeeper in 2011. Carando was rock solid for his team and made several highlight-reel saves during the season. Only a freshman, Carando looks to have a very strong soccer career ahead of him here at Wheaton.
Megan Wandishin – A player who always seems to be in the right place at the right time for her team. Wandishin was among the league’s better defenders in 2011. Offensive players seldom got past her and her defensive prowess helped to generate several easy scoring opportunities for her team.
Sarah Hughes – A key contributor for No Sleeves Attached’s championship run in 2011. A late season addition to the team, Hughes brought energy and a winning attitude to the roster and helped her team to attain the league title this past fall.
